The Human Nutrition and Dietetics Program offers a comprehensive curriculum, combining theoretical and practical courses to provide accurate nutritional knowledge based on scientific and applied research. The program aims to graduate dietitians capable of developing effective nutritional plans for managing chronic and acute conditions related to diet. Additionally, it prepares students to design strategies that promote healthier dietary behaviors among children, individuals, and communities.  

The Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics aims to prepare qualified, distinguished graduates capable of addressing contemporary challenges and working at national, regional, and international levels in the fields of nutrition and clinical nutrition.

To prepare skilled professionals for conducting scientific research, teaching at the university level, promoting a meaningful culture, and providing high-quality, professional services in the field of human nutrition.

  1. To contribute to the community by providing health and therapeutic nutrition specialists with adequate knowledge and scientific expertise in clinical nutrition based on scientific principles.
  2. To conduct research projects aimed at assessing the nutritional status of individuals and communities to identify and resolve nutritional problems.
  3. To familiarize individuals with various nutritional topics, such as healthy nutrition, clinical nutrition, and the nutritional benefits to the human body.
  4. To organize various activities and seminars related to food, clinical nutrition, and diets to serve the local community through available means.
