The Dean: Dr .ZYAD ALWHASHAT 

The Faculty of Law was established in 2009 with the inception of the university. Since then, it has graduated seven cohorts of students who hold advanced positions in various fields of legal practice within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and beyond, with some pursuing higher legal studies. The faculty is committed to preparing a generation that embraces the mission of both the faculty and the university, promotes openness to diverse global cultures, combats narrow-mindedness, intolerance, extremism, and terrorism, and respects human rights. The faculty has also engaged in communication and interaction within the local community of Ajloun through numerous activities, including organizing legal conferences, workshops, and other scientific events, as well as participating in university committees and councils. The Master’s program in Law commenced in the 2014/2015 academic year, and the Higher Diploma in Law and Business program began in the 2022/2023 academic year, with approximately 27 students enrolled in the first semester of this program.

To achieve excellence for the Faculty of Law, both locally and regionally, by applying the highest standards of quality in legal education, scientific research, and community service.

To provide the community with graduates equipped with legal knowledge, skills, and intellectual values who have a local, regional, and international presence, enabling them to address the challenges and demands of the modern era. These graduates will be capable of continuous learning and will stimulate legal research in accordance with global standards.

  7. To develop academic performance in line with local and international standards.
  8. To promote a culture of knowledge, quality, and excellence in all areas of legal sciences.
  9. To keep up with development and modernization in legal studies to advance the college’s research endeavors.
  10. To apply quality and performance standards to enhance the college’s performance and services.
  11. To open avenues for cooperation with international and local centers, as well as community institutions.
